Oliver Stone set to piss off people. Again.

Yet more controversial American political drama for you. The latest trailer for Oliver Stone’s W. is out. Now, on the one hand I harbour an intense dislike for Dubya and all his presidency stands for, but on the other, the notion of paying out someone for their hard partying youth just doesn’t sit well with me as not throwing stones around when one lives in a glasshouse was drilled into me pretty good at a young age.

He may have been an entitled bastard born with a silver spoon in his mouth and all, but you know what? If I didn’t have to work or do anything with my life, I’d be out there partying my ass off and having a good time too. Heck, I’ve got nothing to fall back on or wait for and I’ve been partying my ass off as much as possible since my late teens!

Still, I’m all for speaking truth to power and pissing off those in authority so I’m thinking I’ll back Stone up for his display of gargantuan testicles (calling out the very people who planned and executed 9-11??*) and go watch this when it finally gets released. Just hope it doesn’t play too much into the hands of the Republican drone army in the lead up to the US elections.
