We came across this amazing photoshop/painter work by TokyoGenso which depicts famous Tokyo landmarks, post apocalypse and then beautifully taken over by nature. It’s every anime/scifi geeks wet dream.

We have a few graphic artists in the office, and they seem to agree that this is some damn good work.

Hayao Miyazaki‘s early animated films Nausica and Laputa come to our minds as clear artistic inspirations for this work.

We’d love to see some high quality prints of these, they’d look great framed and up in the degourget office. See this is some actual artistic and positive use of photoshop, as opposed to its usual use of making ugly models look better bad photos look worse.
