Where two icons attempt to salvage their reputations

De Niro and Pacino have sucked for quite a few years now. It looks like they could be trying to get back to the glory days of Heat with Righteous Kill. The script is written by Russell Gewirtz, he of Inside Man man fame, which is good. The director is Jon Avnet, he who directed Fried Green Tomatoes and 88 Minutes, which is not so good.
However, lets look at those first two names – De Niro and Pacino. There’s hope yet.
