Choppers for McCain: Honouring a legacy

How best to honour John McCain for his time spent as a POW? Something that does suitable justice to his sacrifice would be the obvious choice. And if it can claw back some of Obama’s cool ground, then so much the better.

Well, for Orange County Choppers the obvious answer was a fully tricked out Chopper, complete with barbed wire detail and high, high, high handlebars.

Now, DEGOURGET is usually all for customising (especially these bad boys), you’ve got to applaud anyone who goes and puts a little bit of themselves into something, rather than passively accepting the status quo that slipped out of the box, but throw some shitty graphics, a crazy old man and a woman who thinks people walked the land with dinosaurs a mere 4000 years ago into the mix and I’m left feeling a little cold. Especially given the thing isn’t street legal either. I mean, c’mon, if you’re going to go and try get yourself some global media coverage at least ensure the presidential candidate can ride the thing in public for you.
