Aa: Where a winning formula gets tinkered with

Correct me if I’m wrong, but part of the initial appeal of American Apparel was the simplicity of their design and the fact they were devoid of graphics in a time when every fool and his photoshop was putting out hideous full print tees.

So, I’m a bit surprised to see them venturing into the printed tee territory. Now, granted they have been doing patterned T-shirts and the like for a while, but printed graphics is a bold new step.

I guess a simple and austere Helvetica font matches their minimalist designs rather well, but it has been done before in a million places.
They are currently running a poll to decide which letters should be printed first. Go get your vote in here
