The Camera Loves Obama

With each passing day the US election coverage gets ever more intense and more and more people get ever more frustated and just plain over it. It’s a bit ludicrous that for over half of the current president’s term there has been an ongoing campaign to pick his successor. And modern politics is hardly the most inspiring thing to have shoved down your throat ad nauseum, 24/7. With one exception.

No matter what your political outlook, you have to admit that Obama is one charismatic motherfucker. He may or may not be lacking in experience and policy susbstance, but damn has he got some swagger. Further to that he has been a muse of sorts for many designers, artists and other creatives, something his opponent has most definitely not been.

A great example of this inspiration is the work on Obama Daily. A collection of Obama focused photography that is updated daily, the site feeds into the mythology that is rapidly surrounding the man, but even the most die hard Republican will admit there’s some damn fine shots in there.
