Dave Hoffer on Disruptive Realism

Dave is a Associate Creative Director over at Frog Design, who has allegedly coined the term “disruptive realism”. he goes on in the video to explain what that is – citing DEGOURGET favourites; Improv Everywhere, Bruno Taylor and Banksy as examples of this kind of art.

The term is now on wikipedia, but looks like it might get removed, apparantly because it’s a Non-notable neologism. (which are words and terms that have recently been coined, generally do not appear in any dictionary.)

Wow I learned a stack of new words today. Let our vocabularies flourish.

Anyway, we kinda like the term disruptive realism. I suggest you all start shoehorning into your everyday conversations.
