Beatlemania 2009!
Apple is quite the nifty company. Possibly the “coolest” computer company ever to exist, as it successfully carved its way into the history books by merging MUSIC (hip) and HARDWARE (nerd) to create a little thing known as the iPod, which itself will be pop cultural hall-of-fame. Now apple is set to release a discography of possibly the most widely accepted pop musicians of all time, The Beatles! Seriously, who doesn’t like the Beatles? Admit it, even the biggest haters will find themselves tapping along without even realising.
The release will feature:
a 16 disc collection is comprised of all 12 studio Beatles albums, with the addition of ‘Past Masters Vol. 1 and 2.
What makes this exciting is that it’s being released on CD and not the digital only record shop that is the iTunes store. Packaging looks pretty nice too.
If that’s not enough Beatles for you, ROCK BAND (for ps3) is releasing “The Beatles: ROCK BAND” on the same day. For those that don’t know, Rock band is a music game, that comes with real physical instrument replicas, used to play the game, made by the same creators as the popular Guitar Hero franchise. Needless to say, this is totally sweet!
All this is set to drop on 9.9.09.

Hey guys, sorry to break it to you but the Beatles setup their own company called ‘Apple Corps’ in 1968 with chief division being ‘Apple Records’.
It’s not Apple Inc releasing these CD’s hence the Beatles catalogue is still not available in iTunes or being released at all on mp3.
