Russian Anime ‘First Squad’ feat DJ Krush

This is an upcoming World War II era animated action drama series which is being directed by two first-time Russian directors Misha Shprits and Aljosha Klimov, with production by acclaimed Studio 4°C, and funded by a Russian-Canadian company in Molot Entertainment.
It is 1942. The Red Army is putting up a violent and effective resistance against the German invaders. 14 year-old Nadya is a medium. In a deadly air raid the girl is shell-shocked. Recovering from her concussion, Nadya discovers her new gift – the ability to foresee the “Moments of Truth” – the most critical moments of future combat encounters, in which one person’s actions will decide the outcome one way or the other.
Looks different, sounds interesting.
Other than the whole Russian connection, just as interesting is the music. You may have noticed – but some of the music is done by DJ Krush. It’s about bleeding time, he released some music.
The series is expected to launch as an OAV sometime in the near future with no exact release date known at the moment.
