Ideal Rain Gutters

Rain gutters on a house are seldom considered unless something goes wrong. Gutters are vitally important to the structural integrity of a home, particularly the foundation. So rain gutter failure is nothing to sneeze at. Diversion of rainwater from a house roof and foundation is the reason for gutters. A roof over a house can garner a lot of water in a downpour. If that amount of water is not properly diverted, a very costly repair bill may be in store for the homeowner. WHAT CAN HAPPEN? A couple of serious problems can occur when a gutter fails. Instead of being diverted to a downspout and away from the building, water soaks into the ground next to the...

Dream Home: Boise Idaho Real Estate

Boise Idaho Real Estate In the past, the only way to find a home in a new subdivision was to get in your car and start driving. You could spend hours locating new subdivisions and then learning about building lot sizes, lot prices and home values within each community. Your search also included touring homes but at some point it becomes very confusing, trying to remember the differences between them all. Today, there is a better way! It is the most comprehensive guide to new homes and the best part is it is not part of a real estate company nor is there anything to buy. It is a free service for everyone. www.boisehunterhomes.com While every Idaho real...

IdeaPaint: Erasable wall paint

IdeaPaint turns virtually anything you paint into a dry-erase surface and any room into a hub of creativity and collaboration. Well thats what the nifty looking website says anyway. The application in an office space is obvious, but I think this would be great as a home application. Especially for the new homes in Boise Idaho. Make a room, cover it in this stuff – and you have a free-for-all room where you can let the children (or inner children) vandalise to their hearts content. Excellent for creative development of the brain, we...

Porsche Design Swiss Army Knife. For the more stylish Macgyver....

Let it be known that we love multi-tools. Leathermans, Gerbers, SOGs and of course the classic Swiss Army Knife. Every man needs a multi-tool. And this, is one of the sexiest ones we’ve ever seen. Check out the black carbon corkscrew, don’t you just want to walk over to your wooden wine racks and open up a bottle? But you wouldn’t expect any less from Porsche Design, who are indeed the same folks who make those fast cars. The design group has been around since the 70’s (under the name F.A. Porsche) and have been making tons of nice things. This Swiss Army Knife is made for Wegner, who are one of the major Swiss Army Knife manufacturers....

Beautifully classic, Pad&Quill iPad Case...

We love the iPad, but we are frankly detest the ‘look at me’ that most of the available cases give off. The dodo case that Kevin Rose was raving about is nice. But it looks like it’s sold out pretty much everywhere. Here is a nice alternative from Etsy seller PadandQuill. We love how simple, retro and vintage it looks. Looks like it’s been made with traditional bookbinding methods, which we love. At 55 bucks its not cheap, but it is handmade and looks like there is a lot of attention to detail in this. We’d say it’s worth the money for the originality and beauty. Get it...
